IDMarco, B2B E-commerce Service from Salim Group

Indonesian conglomerate Salim Group launched the e-commerce service IDMarco, which targets the B2B market. This step is an attempt by the Salim Group to catch up in entering the digital segment. To DailySocial, President Director of IDMarco Budhi Wibawa said that the latest Salim Group service is here to answer the market's need for easy, safe, fast wholesale shopping, at competitive prices, as part of the digital transformation that is being carried out.

“IDMarco works closely with companies within the Salim Group to provide products such as FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) which we sell in online wholesale form.”

In particular, IDMarco provides a variety of products for shop owners, SMEs, companies, and communities as well as individuals who want to shop wholesale. The products sold today are products manufactured or distributed by the Salim Group.

For logistics and shipping, IDMarco take advantage of the existing internal team, but to provide more services to buyers IDMarco also launched partnerships with third-party logistics services.

Expanding service area

To maximize existing services, currently IDMarco only provides services to buyers in the Greater Jakarta area. IDMarco plans to expand its service area in all major cities in Indonesia and then throughout Indonesia evenly in 2017.

Although it is still relatively new and has not been officially launched, currently IDMarco has been conducting marketing activities on a regular basis offline. This is done to adjust the intended target market.
