Start a Simpler Business Bookkeeping with Cashbook

Perform all bookkeeping activities with the BukuKas application.

BukuKas is an application to help manage business finances such as Stall Book. How to register and use the BukuKas application is quite easy. Starting from recording transactions, recording accounts payable, downloading reports to sending debt reminders, you can do it with BukuKas. But, you must register first to do all the bookkeeping activities above. How to? Check out the information below.

How to Register a Cashbook Account

Before registering, install Cashbook app in smartphone your Android or iOS. The Cashbook application is available at PlayStore nor App Store. Once installed successfully, follow the steps below.

  • Open the application Cash book.
  • Enter the phone number to register an account. Choose a verification method. Is it through SMS or WhatsApp.

 

 

  • put in verification code that goes to your SMS or WhatsApp. If the registered number or WhatsApp with the registered number is on the same device, the code will be filled in automatically.
  • Next, Fill Business/Shop Name Come on, Usage Type (business or personal), as well as Business Category. The business categories that can be selected are as shown in the image below.

 

 

 

  • After that, click Save.
  • Done. You have successfully registered for a BukuKas account and will enter the BukuKas main page.

How to Use the BukuKas App to Manage Transactions

After successfully registering a BukuKas account, manage transactions in BukuKas, from recording transactions to downloading sales reports in the following ways.

How to Record Sales and Expenditure Transactions

Recording every transaction made is very important to know the flow of money in and out. That way, you can see the profit and loss of your business.

How to Record Sales Transactions:

  • Open the application Cash book.
  • Enter menu Transaction.
  • Click Add Transaction to record new transactions.

 

 

  • Next, on the New Transaction page, select a transaction category Sales.
  • Next, choose one Recording Method (Nominal/Cashier Mode). If you choose the cashier mode, you will be asked to arrange the stock of goods first.
  • After that, enter Sales Amount and Cost of goods sold (capital issued).
  • Isi Notes/Remarks if necessary and mark the transaction with Windscreens or Not yet paid off.

 

 

  • At the bottom, you'll see information you can add. However, this is optional. If you want, you can add the name of the item being sold, the payment method of the transaction, channel the occurrence of the transaction, the name of the customer, and a photo of the proof of payment.

 

 

 

  • After all filled in, click Save Transaction.
  • Invoice the sale will go out and you can print it or send it to the customer.

 

 

How to Record Spending Transactions:

  • Enter menu Transaction and click Add Transaction.

 

 

  • Select transaction category Expenditure.

 

 

  • put in Expenditure Amount.

 

 

  • Then, select Expenditure Category. You can select an existing category or add a new category.

 

 

  • After that, give notes or remarks if needed, and mark the transaction with Windscreens or Not yet paid off.
  • Next, fill in information related to the name of the item, payment method, customer name, and photo proof of transaction if needed in the section Optional Information.

 

 

  • If you have, click Save Transaction.

How to Change and Delete Transactions in Cashbook

Transaction canceled or an error? Calm! You can modify and delete transactions in the Cashbook in this way.

How to Change Transactions:

  • Open the application Cash book and enter the menu Transaction
  • Select the transaction you want to change.

 

 

  • Click button Change at the top right.

 

 

  • Change the desired transaction details.
  • If you have, click Save Transaction.

How to Delete Transactions:

  • Enter menu Transaction in app Cash book.
  • Select the transaction you want to delete.

 

 

  • Click button delete in the upper right corner or at the very bottom.

 

 

  • Will appear pop-up to delete the transaction.

 

 

  • Pilih delete if you are sure to delete the transaction.

How to Download Transaction Profit and Loss Statement

If you have successfully recorded a transaction report in the BukuKas application, you can download the transaction report in the form of an Excel or PDF file. Here are the steps:

  • Open the application Cash book.
  • Enter menu Other.
  • Click on option Download Report.

 

 

  • Specify the reporting period you want to download.
  • Next, make sure you select Income statement.

 

 

  • Next, select the type of report file you want to download (PDF/Excel)
  • After that, click Download.

How to Manage Accounts Payable in Cashbook

Recording accounts payable is included in business bookkeeping activities. Why? Because accounts payable affect the financial flow of the business. If you have trouble, you can use BukuKas to manage your accounts payable in the following ways.

How to Record Accounts Payable

The method of recording accounts payable in the Cashbook is different from the way of recording ordinary transactions. Follow these steps to give it a try.

How to Record New Accounts Payable:

  • Enter menu Debt.
  • Click Add Accounts Payable to record new accounts payable.

 

 

  • Pilih Give to record customer payables and select Accept to record your debt.
  • Enter the amount owed, the name of your customer or partner, and notes if needed.

 

 

  • After that, click Save Transaction.

How to Add Accounts Payable to Customers:

  • Enter menu Debt.
  • Select the customer whose accounts payable record you want to add.

 

 

  • Click I give to add to the record of the customer's debt.

 

 

  • Enter the amount owed and notes (if needed).

 

 

  • Then, click Save Transaction.

How to Record Customer Debt Payments:

  • Open menu Debt and select customers who have paid some of their debts.

 

 

  • Pilih I accept and enter the amount of money you receive as a debt payment.

 

 

  • Fill in the notes if needed.

 

 

  • Finally, click Save Transaction.
  • The amount of customer debt will decrease and you can see the remaining outstanding debt.

 

 

How to Mark Off All Customer Accounts Payable:

  • Select a customer who has paid off all his debts in the menu Debt.

 

 

  • Click Flag Paid next to the nominal debt display.

 

 

  • Next, click pay off.

 

 

How to Send Debt Reminders to Customers

The customer has not paid the debt even though the payment deadline has passed? Remind customers with the features in this BukuKas application.

  • Open the application Cash book and enter the menu Debt.
  • Select the customer you want to send a reminder to.
  • Click option Remind with the WhatsApp icon.

 

 

  • Next, you will see a reminder message display to send to your customers.
  • You can change the reminder message with a click Change Message.

 

 

  • If you have, click Send Reminder and select WhatsApp or other app to send a reminder message to the customer.

How to Download Accounts Payable Report

Accounts payable reports are downloaded separately from transaction reports. To download a total debt report or a customer payable report, you can follow the method below.

How to Download Entire Accounts Payable:

  • Enter menu Other in app Cash book.
  • Click Download Report.

 

 

  • Specify the reporting period you want to download.
  • Pilih Accounts Payable Report on the types of reports you want to download.

 

 

  • Next, select the file type. You can download it in PDF or Excel format.
  • Finally, click Download.

How to Download Customer Payable Statements:

  • First, open the menu Debt.
  • Second, select the customer for whom you want to download the payables report.
  • Third, click options Report with icon download.

 

 

  • Fourth, select the type of file you want to download.

 

 

  • Then, click Download.
