How to take screenshots on Samsung cellphones, anti-complicated and faster

This article will show you the easiest screenshot method for all existing versions of Samsung phones.

Smartphone users often make screenshots or so-called screenshots (SS) for various purposes. Usually used to quickly save images or data displayed on the screen.

This allows information on the screen to be documented and stored in the form of images in the phone's gallery. On Samsung cellphones in particular, users can take screenshots in several different ways.

Using Buttons

Capturing screenshots with this first Samsung cellphone may be quite familiar. Most mobile products also use keyboard shortcuts for screenshots.

How to take Samsung screenshots using keyboard shortcuts:

1. Go to the screen you want to take a screenshot of

2. Press the power button and volume down button simultaneously for one second, then release

3. Phone screen flashes and ready

4. The results are displayed at the bottom of the screen and will be directly stored in your cellphone gallery

5. You can also edit the screenshot a bit like cropping the image etc

Palm Rubbing

Another option is to slide your palm across the screen. This feature is called "Palm Swipe to Capture". This model's SS method is unique because it's only available on Samsung phones and tablets.

To use it, the user must place the outer palm (along the little finger and palm) on the Samsung HP screen. Then swipe left or right with your palm. In this way, the screenshot was created successfully.

The ability to take screenshots by hand is enabled by default on this Samsung phone. So that users can immediately practice it without having to install other applications or activate certain features.

However, users can disable SS gestures with a palm swipe. To do so, go to Settings > Advanced Features > tap Motions & Gertures > slide the toggle palm to swipe to capture towards off. This will disable the feature.

Using Bixby Voice

Another way to take screenshots on a Samsung Galaxy phone is to use Bixby Voice. This Bixby Voice feature is Samsung's smart assistant that you can download from the Play Store if you haven't installed it on your phone.

How to take screenshots on Samsung phones using Bixby Voice:

1. Go to the screen you want to take a screenshot of

2. Press and hold your phone's side button until Bixby Voice appears, then say "Hello, Bixby".

3. Then say "Screenshot done" again.

4. Bixby will automatically capture your cellphone screen and the screenshot will be directly saved to the gallery.

Using the S Pen

This screenshot method can only be used on Samsung phones that already support the S Pen, especially the latest Galaxy Note and Galaxy S22 Ultra series.

How to take screenshots on Samsung phones with S Pen:

1. Take out the S Pen

2. Set up the page you want to take a screenshot of

3. Click on the Air Command feature and then select Smart Selection.

4. Attach the S Pen to the screen, then drag the grid line to select the side you want to take a screenshot of.

5. If so, select save at the bottom right

6. Done, the result will be saved in the gallery
