How to Manually Reset Canon iP2770 / iP2700 Without Application

As the name implies, this reset method can be done without using additional applications at all, purely using standard service procedures from the manufacturer.

• Turn off the printer and unplug the power cable.
• Reconnect and press the power button to turn on the printer.
• Press the resume button and hold it for 2-3 seconds
• Without releasing the resume button, then press the power button until a green indicator appears.
• Only then slowly resume button while continuing to hold down the power button
• Press the resume button 5 times while still holding down the power button
• Release all held buttons let the printer restart normally.

Done, you have reset the Canon printer for the IP2700 and IP2770 types manually without an application.

How to Reset Canon IP2700/IP2770 Printer with Resetter

• Download the resetter HERE.
• Press the "MAIN" button on the resetter then your Canon IP2770 printer will print a sheet of paper with data D=000.0
• Now press the "EEPROM Clear" then "EEPROM" then the printer will print again.
• Finally, restart the printer and the computer/laptop will read the new printer connection.
• Reset is complete, the printer will work like new again.

How to Reset Canon MP287 Printer

• Download and install this application Service Tool V3400
• Load multiple sheets of paper into the printer
• When the application is running, find the option “clear ink counter" and "ink absorber counter".
• Click menu "main"and click again"set".

• Next click "eprom” which will instruct the printer to print with the code “D = 000.0"
• Now, turn the printer off and on again.
• The printer has been successfully reset
