"Therefore, we are here to offer a solution in the form of an application that can help fishermen catch fish by providing information related to locations that have the best potential and the most suitable time to catch them, so that fishermen will get certainty every time they go to sea," explained Merta.

FishGo was founded by Merta with Anak Agung Gede Aditya Pratama and Donna Priscila B. As a new startup, operationally they have collaborated with a number of local governments in Bali.

Kini FishGo already helped 16 fishermen from 16 different groups to introduce the use of the application. In addition, they also educate fishermen about the use of External GPS which has inputted the coordinates of potential fishing areas. The recorded GPS data is then compared with predictions to continuously improve accuracy.

"[Currently] Some of FishGo's services are still in feature development, and we are developing additional features that require Beta test first to the current user before it's finished and ready for us launch," added Merta.

In addition to potential areas for fishing, the FishGo application also provides several other features, such as weather forecasts and wave conditions. In the future they will also develop online features fish markets to connect fishermen with those in need supply fish.
