Horee Mall Try Your Luck by Relying on Visual Elements in E-Commerce Services

To access the service requires a client application installed on the PC

Competition in the e-commerce industry that is starting to look hectic is forcing service provider vendors to continue to innovate to provide the best service. Wanting to be different from the e-commerce system in general, PT Horee Innovation Indonesia some time ago launched a platform Hooray Mall Indonesia, an e-commerce system with 3D view.

The concept carried by Horee Mall is to want to pamper consumers as well merchant with the best experience in buying and selling like in shops or shopping centers in general. Consumers in shopping will be represented by an avatar that can be run like when we run a play in an adventure game. As for shop owners, they can open a virtual shop and design it like when opening a kiosk in a shopping center.

For users, when they have registered, they will be asked to download a desktop application, with installer about 160 MB in size. The virtual online store with a 3D display will be run using an application that has been installed on the computer. Currently only available for Microsoft Windows operating system. The application will depend heavily on the ability hardware computer and internet connectivity.

To DailySocial the Horee Mall development team told:

“Our initiative to build the Horee Mall emerged when we saw the high number of Indonesian e-commerce users, which is around 24 percent of the total Indonesian internet users of 88 million people. In addition, we also take into account the large number of malls in big cities, even in Jakarta alone there can be more than 170 malls. Thus it can be seen that shopping has become a lifestyle.”

The Horee Mall development team continued, “Many people go to the mall not only to shop but also to take a walk, window shopping, chat to meet with friends and even a place of recreation and recreation. But unfortunately to go to the mall in the city there are many obstacles, ranging from traffic jams to difficult to find parking. However, the current e-commerce has not answered all the desires that we want to get from the mall itself, we are only confined to the menu on the left, product images on the right, nothing more.”

“Even with existing e-commerce, it tends to increase the phenomenon of consumerism, because they don't know whether the item is needed or not, what are the benefits of the item, and so on. For this reason, Horee Mall finally comes with a 3D display, so you can not only shop, but also as a shopper (buyer), we can take a walk, window shopping, chat with each other shoppers, both publicly and through group chat, even with shop owner. So that they can talk and provide each other with information and recommendations about the goods to be purchased. Thus, through Horee Mall Indonesia, shopper can shop carefully and have fun,” they said.

According to our observations, the application presented by Horee Mall is still in the stage of refinement. Consumers who wish to use this application must ensure optimal connectivity and minimum computer system prerequisites are met.

Regarding the market education plan that will be carried out by Horee Mall to introduce the platform with its new style, in the near future the team will conduct roadshows to several major cities in Indonesia to introduce the platform as well as attract partners to fill the virtual kiosks provided. The platform optimization process is also continuously carried out to produce a better virtual shopping experience.
