Helping Agriculture in Kupang, Eragano Presents Integrated Technology Solutions

In the second month of 2018 agricultural startup Eragano tried to be present to help farmers in Kupang with its technology and service products. Eragano is here to change the existing conventional system and change it with an approach that is claimed to be effective.

Eragano It is stated that it will provide integrated solutions ranging from financing, assistance in farming cultivation, to helping sales of crops from existing farmers. Eragano technology also plays a role in helping farmers by facilitating credit loans, providing farm production facilities, and accessing markets at better prices.

In addition, Eragano will also help farmers to improve their farming knowledge and skills through training and consultation with agricultural experts from Eragano. Kupang was chosen because Eragano felt that his technology and specialization could help and have a positive impact on farmers.

"Kupang is an area with a large expanse of agricultural land. However, Kupang farmers do not seem to have felt the impact of land division by the government and the exchange rate for Kupang farmers is very low. Eragano is eager to improve the welfare of Kupang farmers and increase productivity levels per farmer land in Kupang," said Eragano CEO Stephannie Jesselyn.

Meanwhile, Eragano's presence in Kupang was welcomed by farmers and the local government. The Head of the Kupang Regency Agriculture Office, Ruben, commented, "We are very grateful for Eragano's presence in Kupang, because previously there has not been any private party that has helped farmers, really from capital to help with sales."

Kupang was not the only area Eragano wanted to help. Eragano's party explained that apart from Kupang, his party continues to try to expand its territorial reach. For 2018, Eragano targets to strengthen its position in West Java, Central Java, East Java, Kupang, Lombok and is expected to be able to assist approximately 100.000 farmers to be facilitated. Meanwhile, for the first quarter of 2018, Eragano said he would focus on clarifying the profile of agricultural lands.

Reflecting on the year 2017, Eragano was quite successful. From internal data, Eragano has distributed hundreds of tons of harvested produce and is currently preparing several areas for harvesting. With a fairly aggressive movement this year, it is not impossible that the amount of harvest distributed can increase.
