Focus on improving the quality of doctors and partnerships with insurance companies

Health startups Halodoc adding health package services for corporates by using the services of doctors who have partnered with the company. A drug delivery service is also available for each prescription with the help of the Go-Send service. This service has not been officially presented by the party Halodoc, but has been marketed in corporate circles.

VP Marketing Communications Halodoc Felicia Kawilarang explained, potentially this service is a solution for the HR team in providing services to employees. They don't need to leave the office every time they need a doctor's consultation or buy medicine from a doctor's prescription. Simply open the application Halodoc from their workspace.

Felicia said over the past three years, Halodoc more focus on increasing the quantity of doctors. The next step is to improve the quality of doctors with training so they can serve better. Even so, in terms of quantity the number of doctors who have joined has covered all of Indonesia.

"When we first started, many consumers said the doctor was no friendly, the reply was short. It can actually be trained, maybe many are not used to answering consultations via chat. Partnership with Adira Insurance

Halodoc adding partnerships with insurance companies, this time partnering with Adira Insurance for Medicilin health insurance products. Medicilin customers can consult a doctor via phone call, chat or video call. If there is a drug purchase, it can also be made online through a pharmacy partner Halodoc.

Interestingly, after the customer uses the facility, it automatically deducts the cost of claims covered by Medicilin. Customers only need to pay the excess fee if there are medicines that are not covered by insurance. This partnership has previously been done with FWD Life last year.

Partnerships like this, he continued, benefit the insurers because they can reduce the value of claims per incident by 50% -70%. They simply take advantage of the application Halodoc and connect with the doctor.

"With this new service, we want to provide health services that are easily accessible and in accordance with the lifestyle of today's customers. They can also save on the Medicilin ceiling limit," added Adira Insurance's Direct Business Division Head Eka Widiastuti.
