GoUmrah Plan Platform Updates and Fundraising

Already has 21 travel agent partners with 400 Umrah packages, plans to launch a mobile application

To make it easier for users to enjoy Mobile browser, Go Umrah doing revamping UI/UX appearance on the platform. If it is on target, the new appearance of GoUmroh will be completed around the end of February 2019.

Although it is currently considered not necessary to release an application, in the future, GoUmroh intends to launch an application with additional features that are expected to be useful for customers around the second quarter of 2019.

"We've hired a consultant to make things easier journey customers while visiting our platform. Meanwhile, the application in the future will be equipped with interesting features and products for those related to GoUmroh," said the COO of GoUmroh Abul A'la Almaujudy.

Currently, GoUmroh has 21 travel agent partners and has around 400 Umrah packages. It was asked whether in the future WisataUmroh has plans to present a customizable Umrah package, for now it has no intention of releasing the package, adjusting the regulations which state that Umrah packages may only be issued by travel agents.

"Currently our focus is on consumers, for that we want to make sure the platform's appearance makes it easier for them to browse and make transactions. We hope that GoUmroh can sell more packages in 2019," said CEO of GoUmroh M. Faried Ismunandar.

Targeting the B2B segment and fundraising plans

Sebagai marketplace Umrah travel supported by technology and curated travel agent partners, Go Umrah has ambitions to become a trusted digital platform and of course it can be well received by the community. Not only those who have plans to travel for Umrah, but also people "Muslim casual" who so far still do not have sufficient insight related to Umrah.

"Currently, away Umrah customers are still dominated by those who fall into the criteria of adult to family age. However, we also want to expand the market targeting millennials to start choosing Umrah trips as part of their current plan," said CMO of GoUmroh Astari Fitriani.

To expand marketing activities and reach more users, GoUmroh has issued several attractive promos for users. Meanwhile, the online approach is also carried out by increasing the number of activities digital marketing, utilise travel blogger and many more. This is deliberately done by GoUmroh to provide relevant education related to Umrah travel to the wider community.

In 2019, WisataUmroh also plans to target the B2B segment, providing additional products that can be customized. The target is GoUmroh will launch this service in March 2019. In addition, going for Umrah will also add new features for consumers and merchant.

To accelerate business, add talent and other needs, GoUmroh plans to conduct a fundraising this year in the pre-series stage A. Still reluctant to mention who the potential investors will be involved in, it is hoped that this fresh fund will be obtained in 2019.

"This has become our focus during 2019 after being officially present since the middle of 2018," said Faried.
