WFP reduces the impact of climate change on food security in Indonesia by providing support to governments and communities to better respond to extreme weather events and climate-related constraints. Using innovative methodologies and new data sets to improve predictability, WFP and the Government are working on PRISM (Platform for Real-Time Impact Situation Monitoring). PRISM uses satellite imagery and other sensors to provide governments and the humanitarian sector with climate information quickly for action.

"We hope this initiative can strengthen the resilience of agricultural ecosystems in Indonesia and we can't wait to see the role of technology in creating a more sustainable food system," said Google Indonesia Managing Director Randy Jusuf.
