Go-Jek Opens Singapore Driver Partner Registration Portal
Marking the seriousness of Go-Jek to soon be present in the Lion country
Go-Jek's presence in Singapore is getting closer. Today they opened the portal pre-registration for Singaporeans who want to become Go-Jek driver partners. Those who register on the portal will receive a more detailed notification from Go-Jek regarding the registration steps to join Go-Jek Singapore.
There is no definite date yet on when Go-Jek will officially operate, only a Go-Jek spokesman on his official website said the opening of this portal is an important step for the next partner recruitment process.
On the portal, Go-Jek only lists prospective driver partners for four-wheeled vehicles, while two-wheeled vehicles do not have a permit as a means of transportation in Singapore.
“There is a lot of interest [in becoming a driver partner] in Singapore and we are delighted to take this important first step towards recruitment driver. Launched in Jakarta since 2011, Go-Jek has become one of the leading digital companies. Not only providing transportation services, Go-Jek now has many verticals, including those serving the lifestyle, health and fintech sectors.
Go-Jek's presence in Singapore will continue the expansion program from Go-Jek which was activated some time ago. Go-Jek first present in Vietnam with Go-Viet, then in Thailand under the name GET and are in the process of entering the Philippine market. In Singapore Go-Jek will also face off against one of their biggest competitors, Grab, which recently received funding from Microsoft.
