Go-Jek Acquires Counter Event Management and Analysis Services

The event management and analysis service Loket announced that it had been acquired by Go-Jek in an undisclosed amount. After the acquisition, Loket Founder and CEO Edy Sulistyo ensured that the company would remain independent and run as usual. This is exit Edy's second in the last four years after previously selling Event platform to EnvisionPoint.

This acquisition will facilitate synergies between ticketing platforms Go-Jek, Go-Tix, and management and analysis services managed by Loket. Go-Jek will provide a payment service scheme through Go-Tix and Loket will improve the quality of the overall experience of enjoying the event.

Services offered Elbow for an activity you could say end-to-end. Counters provide system solutions white label ticket, access monitoring crew, RFID wristband technology, audience profiling, secure ticketsand secure gate.

Go-Jek CEO Nadiem Makarim said in his statement, "We see Loket as a company that continues to innovate and utilize technology to meet event and entertainment needs. This collaboration will be able to provide various services that can help promoters solve event problems, such as ticket distribution, management audience, and provision of innovative entertainment."

Go-Tix itself currently offers more than 250 activities and partnerships with 2 cinema chains, CGV and Cinemaxx.

Edy ensured that this acquisition would strengthen Loket's position as the largest player in the event and entertainment industry. It is said that Loket has so far managed more than 500 major events and distributed more than 1 million RFID wristbands.

Last year's counter got Series A pendanaan funding from Sovereign's Capital and East Ventures.
