GetPlus Attracts Milk.k Presents Reward Points Exchange Feature with Crypto Coins

The new feature is rolling out in the GetPlus app in June 2023

Loyalty platform startup GetPlus announced a partnership with a similar startup from South Korea, Milkk. The realization of this partnership is to present the feature of exchanging GetPlus points into the Milk (MLK) crypto token coin.

"Our mission is to help the retail industry by loyalty coalition. User could earn points from many categories everyday shopping who have partnered with us. The presence of Mil.k certainly provides additional value proposition for consumers to enjoy points rewards," said COO GetPlus Adrian Hoon in a press conference, Monday (13/3).

It is hoped that the presence of this innovation will open up new opportunities and greater benefits for GetPlus users, because platform Mil. k partners with international companies to provide exchanges from various lifestyle service providers.

Among them, AirAsia global, Megabox Shinsegae Duty Free shopping center, OTA Yanolja, convenience stores cu, E-commerce INTERPARK and others. Not only that, MLK coins can be traded on international crypto exchanges, such as Gate.io, Kucoin, Huobi Global, Upbit, Bithumb, and Coinone.

Mil.k CEO Cho Jung Min conveyed the partnership with GetPlus as well as marked the expansion to Indonesia, followed by three other countries in Southeast Asia that have been eyed so far this year, namely Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.

For the record, Milk.k is a GetPlus-type startup that leverages technology blockchain and integrate with various service companies, such as the travel, leisure, fashion, culture and other lifestyle industries.

The proposition offered is different from most because within the Mil.k ecosystem allows users to convert loyalty points into MLK tokens, which can then be redeemed by buying from any partner (or selling in exchange for cash). According to Cho, even though in his country of origin the Milk.k solution is complete, for the initial stage its presence in Indonesia will focus on point exchange solutions. rewards. Hoon targets that this year the company can grow 50% from the number of transactions and 80% for the number of users. As for the number of users, it is claimed to have reached more than 600 thousand people and 250 online and offline merchants spread across Jakarta and Surabaya.

Users can earn points reward every day by simply scanning the receipt into the GetPlus application and after that you can exchange points for various options, such as products, services, and e-vouchers.
