GetPlus Platform Offers “Coalition Loyalty” Program for Retail Business

The application has been used by 150 thousand people; get seed funding from GDP Venture

GetPlus was developed to help retail businesses through coalition loyalty programs (coalition loyalty), enable customers to be able to connect closer to the shopping center and get more benefit from every transaction.

Through the app GetPlus, customers in shopping malls can earn reward points from their shopping activities across various brands and product categories. These points will be accumulated in one account, making it easier to claim various types of prizes.

GetPlus Co-Founder & COO Adrian Hoon said, there are several approaches that are tried to be given to help retailers improve their business performance. “First for the acquisition of new customers, through the membership system. Then model coalition for the loyalty platform, it is claimed to increase visits and the amount of shopping significantly.”

“GetPlus is also trying to help protect retail margins by using bonus reward points to encourage customers early in the season – reducing massive discounts during sales periods. Being digitally based, businesses can also use the data obtained to map customer demographics and habits.”

In a previous release, it was reported that GetPlus has now been applied to the Grand Indonesia shopping center. Users can exchange shopping receipts into points. Integration was also carried out, previously Grand Indonesia already had a G CARD. Now users can convert their points into GetPlus points.

Getting funding from GDP Venture

Since it was officially released on February 21, 2019, GetPlus has been used by approximately 150 users, with 12 earning partners/channels. Currently the application is available for Android and iOS platforms.

Apart from Adrian, co-founder Another GetPlus is Antonny Liem. In its debut, the company received seed funding from GDP Venture. A positive note in Jakarta will increase the aggressiveness of expansion, including to various big cities throughout Indonesia by 2021.

Adrian also explained the difference in the model coalition with existing loyalty programs so far, for example the single-brand (example: Starbucks Card) or close-Loop (example: MAP Club).

"Coalition designed to provide value sustainable for merchant, consumers, and operators. This program helps merchants acquire new customers, drive retention, and increase spending. With that note, we believe GetPlus has high growth potential in Indonesia,” explained Adrian.

Over the next year, GetPlus' focus on improving merchant and members, especially in the Greater Jakarta area. In addition, they also want to educate the retail industry about the program loyalty coalition and utilization of consumer data for business improvement. While continuously improving the UI/UX of the application for user convenience.
