Games for Windows Live Will Close Forever?

After hearing the news that former Steam boss moves to Microsoft, then Microsoft finally decided to shut down the Games for Windows marketplace service, Microsoft seems deliberately leaking a news that is quite surprising: Microsoft plans to disable the Games for Windows Live feature on games they start mid next year.

This news has not been confirmed by Microsoft at all, but this incident is quite funny and I am very grateful to The Escapist Magazine and PC Gamer who have immortalized it digitally. This information first appeared in Update Age of Empires Online where Microsoft stated that, “Games for Windows Live will be discontinued starting July 1, 2014, Age of Empires Online requires the Games For Windows Live feature to run. You can still enjoy all the features in Age of Empires Online because game It will remain 100% operational until July 1, 2014, at which point we plan to shut down the servers.”

But it seems that Microsoft is in a hurry to rectify this news, even if you click link above, this information they have removed from Update Age of Empires Online. Then they took out a new announcement which states that “Games For Windows Live will run as usual.” Unfortunately, from the changes, errors, and new announcements that Microsoft provides, it reinforces our assumptions about their inconsistency. Convince consumers that they will continue to do what Microsoft has planned.

There is a saying, what has been uploaded on the internet will forever be there. A Twitter user @retro remakes menscreenshot update this was before Microsoft replaced it. Praise the God of the Internet!

This means that we can draw two conclusions from the news above. The first is whatever Microsoft claims about the method's success free-to-play in Age of Empires Online they are in fact unable to save game this is from adversity. The second is that you have to get ready for the closing of Games For Windows Live.

Games For Windows Live (GFWL) removal is probably the most awaited moment for the majority gamer in the world, but the question is: what happened to games GFWL do we have? Are we going to get a Update the last one to destroy this feature forever, or even a major catastrophe in history Gaming – we can't even play games this again? We can only pray and hope for the best.

It's hard for us not to think that this has nothing to do with closure marketplace Games For Windows and Jason Holtman's entry to Microsoft.
