Former Yahoo Executive Moves To Microsoft

For the sixth time in the last 6 months Microsoft again succeeded in attracting executives Yahoo which is being hit by many internal company problems. One of the newest to successfully move to Microsoft is Kevin Timmons, previously Vice President Operations at Yahoo where he built data centers and infrastructure for the company. Previously Timmons also served as director of operations at Geocities which was closed by Yahoo last April.

Timmons is the second person Microsoft has successfully taken over from Yahoo to take over operations at Microsoft's Data Center after Microsoft previously hooked up with Dayne Sampson, who used to be Vice President Operations Search and Advertising.

Since December last year, there have been 6 Yahoo executives who have moved to Microsoft, and it is suspected that it comes from the effects produced by Qi Lu (President of Online Services Microsoft) who also comes from Yahoo. This executive transfer strategy is also expected to be able to smooth the cooperation agreement between Yahoo-Microsoft, although without a concrete final result.
