Fits.id Enters the B2B Segment Through the BeneFits Application

Collaborating with Octolife, a healthtech startup from Singapore

Increased awareness to consume healthy food, drinks, and supplements during the pandemic presents its own opportunities for the platform wellness-commerceFits.id. Launched in 2019, they claim to have thousands of users and hundreds of partners spread across various cities.

To increase its business penetration, Fits.id also opens collaboration opportunities with MSME partners and brand who share the same goal of building a healthier and more prosperous society.

From the data submitted, during this pandemic there was an increase in several products. The company noted that the most in-demand products and services to date are health food products and medical equipment.

"Society has started aware with the food intake they consume and also the increasing medical needs during this pandemic. Products like Covid-19 screening methods, isoman service pack, health talks, online sports, and others are options," said Fits.id CEO Pondra Nala Permana.

This year there are a number of plans that want to be launched, the focus is to strengthen the presence of Fits.id in Indonesia through achieving the total number of users, revenue and market share di wellness industry. If this has been achieved, it will be continued with fundraising for investors.

Another plan is to penetrate and educate the use of the recently launched BeneFits application to target markets such as MSMEs and corporations, so that the use of this platform can be better known by the wider community.

Aiming to develop new innovations, Fits.id which is also a subsidiary of one of the insurance brokers in Indonesia "INTEGRA", collaborates with Ocktolife to launch an application Benefits. The BeneFits application will provide comprehensive health products and services such as healthy food, sports products, supplements, insurance, health checks, and much more.

This strategic partnership is important for Ocktolife in their efforts to enter the Southeast Asian market starting from Indonesia, where many people do not have insurance. Octolife is a predictive healthcare technology company (healthtech) based in Singapore.

The BeneFits app allows companies to startups to engage and retain their millennial workforce by offering holistic health products tailored to each employee. Employees can use the BeneFits app to customize or personalize their pool insurance.

"With Octolife's experience and capabilities in the healthtech, we believe this cooperation will go well. The built platform offers employees a comprehensive range of health/fitness benefits and rewards. Based on this unique proposition, we are ready to penetrate the MSME market and large companies in Indonesia," said Pondra.

In a study launched by Mercer revealed, in Indonesia, 49% of companies plan to offer greater access to healthcare remotely, compared to only 36% of their global counterparts. Digital care delivery will be at the core of the program to re-engage employees in their long-term well-being.

The report also revealed that 49% wanted to enable digital health checks to promote health goals and 40% added benefits to address mental or emotional health issues.

In addition, approximately 82% of organizations are already using or planning to improve employee health and wellness analytics. Companies are also starting to realize that financial well-being is important for their employees with 4 out of 10 people wanting to improve their employees' financial health and well-being through analytics.
