FintechSPACE Ready to Help Indonesian Fintech Startups

Has inaugurated a building at Satrio Tower, providing forums and activities for fintech service startups

After announce its presence in early 2018, coworking space operator UnionSpace (previously named Cre8) inaugurated its presence in Indonesia by establishing FintechSPACE at Satrio Tower, Jakarta.

Still consistent with its main mission, which is to provide a forum for exchanging ideas on formulating fintech policies and implementing new ideas and concepts in the fintech field, FintechSPACE has established partnerships with fintech service startups to financial institutions such as DBS Bank, Midtrans, and venture capital Kejora VC, Gan. Capital and Fenox.

The large growth of digital financial financial services and the massive interest from related parties have made fintech startups have a unique landscape in Indonesia. According to UnionSPACE CEO Albert Goh, fintech startup companies are said to be the drivers of Indonesia's digital economy which are quite aggressive because they can speed up and simplify transactions.

"The contribution is high, plus, fintech has various innovations and technologies. Starting from peer-to-peer lending, payment systems, cashless, Software as a Service (SaaS) and many more. This is a momentum to be able to continue to accelerate and expand the fintech business."

Connecting startups and related parties

In addition to the coworking space located at Satrio Tower, UnionSPACE also has four other branches in Jakarta, such as PIK Avenue, Metropolitan Tower, Wisma Barito Pacific, and also Harton Tower as well as several other locations in Bangkok, Manila and Kuala Lumpur.

The facilities provided include providing comprehensive business services such as coworking space, private office space, virtual office, establishment of PT and many more. Currently, the total space owned by FintechSPACE is 3 floors and 55 suites are available, which will increase to 200 suites.

To support the startup community targeting fintech services, later FintechSPACE will also hold activities that support startups and fintech key players to develop, by bringing them closer to official partners, in accordance with FintechSPACE's commitment to contribute to the advancement of fintech in Indonesia.
