Among several other digital industry categories, fintech many say the fastest growing in recent years. With diverse market shares and business models, the development of fintech be interesting to follow.

This year DailySocial re-release signature report titled "Fintech Report 2018". Continuing last year's publication, this report attempts to present industry development trends fintech in Indonesia during 2018.

There are four main discussions in this report, namely regarding industry dynamics, players fintech current, consumer perspective on service fintech, and industry perspective on ecosystem fintech.

Many interesting findings are attempted to be summarized in this report, some of which are as follows:

1. Fintech lending become the most dominant coloring the industry this year. Of the $182,3 million in total announced funding for startups fintech this year, 57% were related to the lending sub-sector --covering p2p loans and payday loan.
2. Society is getting aware with the importance of regulation fintech. This is evidenced in a consumer survey conducted with the Jakpat Mobile Survey Platform. Of the 1419 respondents, 98.03% agreed that fintech must be registered and supervised by Bank Indonesia and the Financial Services Authority.
3. The industry assesses that currently Indonesia's market share is sufficient for fintech. Half of the respondents said that the digital literacy of Indonesian consumers was good, but the rest said that more education was needed.
4. In the report also presented services fintech popular by category. For e-money, Go-Pay (79,38%) is still in first place, followed by OVO (58,42%) in second.
