Finally OnlinePajak Officially Announces Series A Funding from Alpha JWC Ventures and Sequoia India

Funding earned $3-5 million

OnlineTax today (6/12) officially announced the acquisition of series A funding with a value of $3-5 million or a minimum of 40 billion rupiah. The funding was led by Alpha JWC Ventures, and backed by Sequoia India. In particular, the fresh funds raised will be focused on developing innovative products and solutions to help MSMEs, which can have a positive impact on the Indonesian economy in terms of tax revenue.

After partnering with Alpha JWC and Sequoia India, now OnlinePajak hopes to have support to produce innovative products for tax management, human resources, and accounting. This solution continues to be developed in line with OnlinePajak's vision, reducing the burden of corporate administration and tax collection efficiency.

"The government is working hard to boost tax revenues for better infrastructure development and economic development. The OnlinePajak service, which is designed to make it easier for companies to fulfill their tax obligations, also has the goal of helping the government achieve these achievements. This year we want to contribute again by targeting tax collection up to Rp 30 trillion," said the Founder of OnlinePajak Charles Guinot.

Last debut made by OnlineTax is to open the API to build the widest possible partnership, both for SaaS service developers and also e-commerce. Sleekr, Accurate, Talenta, and Etobee are some of the startup partners that helped optimize the API for digital tax service processing in their applications.

"OnlinePajak has now provided a module that HR can use to make it easier to pay employee taxes, while the accounting team is given the convenience of depositing corporate taxes, and also managing their invoices. In the near future, OnlinePajak will also release a solution that will help users to perform and organize their tax payments," Charles added.

OnlinePajak has also obtained an ISO information security management system, helping companies to prepare, deposit, and report taxes through one integrated application, which is fully connected to the Directorate General of Taxes system.
