Expansion to Malang and Makassar, GrabKitchen Now Available in 7 Cities Simultaneously

Slowly but surely, concept cloud kitchen began to be known by people from various circles. A concept that basically combines food courts with food delivery trends online this has penetrated quite a number of cities in Indonesia, and not only in Java.

One of the network providers cloud kitchen currently the largest in Indonesia Grab. Noted so far the network GrabKitchens are spread across 48 points in seven cities at once: Jabodetabek, Bandung, Bali, Medan, Surabaya, and the two newest ones, namely Malang and Makassar.

No half-hearted, expansion GrabKitchen in the provincial capital of South Sulawesi is directly represented by two branches at once; one in Daeng Tata, another in the Batua area. For the Malang branch itself, Grab chose Tlogomas as the location.

As well as GrabKitchens scattered in other locations, a number of partners merchant selected have been entrusted with operating in these three new facilities. Here are the details:

  • 10 merchant popular food and drink in Makassar which includes Mastercheese Pizza, Ayam Gepuk Pak Gembus, Big Bananas, Duck Gazebo, Mama Hot Plate, Makassar Snack House, Bebek Goyang Sulawei 'Begos', and Queen Fruits
  • 11 merchant in Malang which includes Taliwang Sasak Tulen Grilled Chicken, Moome Geprek Chicken, Wings Me, Friends Sit, Greenly, Mr. M4T, Bosman Kebab, 78 Fried Rice, Pempek Farina, Pempek Bujang Tuo, and Batagor Farina

The convenience offered to consumers, of course, is that they can order all dishes from several menus merchant which is in one location GrabKitchen, then combine them in one and the same delivery. More practical as well as more cost-effective delivery.

Since it was first introduced in Jakarta in 2018, GrabKitchen offers opportunities to partners merchant to grow their business with low cost and risk, as well as direct access to reach more consumers through the use of technology.

There are already more than 200 brand in Indonesia partnered with GrabKitchen. 60 percent of them fall into the MSME category, however brand well-known names such as Kopi Kenangan or Sour Sally are also included in the portfolio GrabKitchen. According to Grab alone, the average partner merchant di GrabKitchen saw an increase in daily orders of up to 80% in the first month.
