Exabytes Acquires Master Web Network

Exabytes Capital Group (Exabytes), a platform based in Southeast Asia, officially acquired Indonesia-based PT Master Web Network (MWN) through SPV Masterweb International Pte. Ltd. This acquisition includes wholly-owned subsidiaries, namely PT Cyberdata Technology and PT Domain Name Registration.

MWN itself is the second company owned by Exabytes in Indonesia after establishing PT Exabytes Network Indonesia in 2017. Founded in 1998, this company focuses on providing website hosting services and other services, including domain names, cloud hosting, VPS and managed servers.

Exabytes Indonesia Country Manager Indra Hartawan said, this company's service is intended to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) develop their business online.

"We have been doing this in Indonesia since 2017 by offering services hosting and premium cloud. As we grow, we also want to add hosting low cost so that we can serve more customers in this country of more than 200 million people," said Indra.

Indra added that Exabytes sees the potential of Master Web Network, which has more than 50.000 active paying subscribers, to be a good addition to the group of companies.

"With this, Exabytes Group currently serves more than 120.000 active companies. We will also seek other investment resources such as technology, automation, and talent training internally at MWN to help accelerate business and continue to improve its service offerings in Indonesia," he added.

According to MWN CEO Dhiar Lukito Adhi, this acquisition is very important to be able to help the growth of SMEs in Indonesia.
