Evil Geniuses Wins The International 2015 Dota 2, Earns $6,6 Million

With three of the four Chinese teams competing in the semi-finals - plus a second chance for Vici Gaming, Ehome, LGD in lower bracket - no wonder if we assume that The International 2015 Dota 2 may again be dominated by the East champions. But this year's competition again proves that analysis alone is not enough to predict the final result.

Shouts 'USA! USA!' echoed in Seattle's KeyArena arena after the game largefinal epic between CDEC and Evil Geniuses. The dark horse team from China forced Evil Geniuses to bring out all their skills, but of course there was only one winner. For the first time since The International tournament was held, gamer United States professionals who are members of Evil Geniuses won this year's event.

EG had fallen to its knees in front of CDEC in preliminary finals, dragged to lower bracket, forcing them to fight against the mainstay and the highest scorer in Group Stage A, LGD Gaming. Success there gave Evil Geniuses a second chance to duel with CDEC. And eyewitnesses to the climactic momentum of The International 2015 must have realized the difference skill both are very thin.

As a result, Grand finale this year's tournament is no less dramatic than the Alliance versus Na'Vi match two years ago. Amazingly, not many people thought that CDEC and EG could meet there. The two of them were desperately trying to get out of the Wild Card seats. CDEC's struggle is no less harsh. They arrived in Seattle as the fourth-placed Chinese team, but are now recognized as one of the best Dota 2 teams in the world. The end of The International 2015 is a rare moment that should be witnessed by fans.

The team lost two talented players in the 'Great Western Shuffle' period (now under Team Secret), but luckily gained the support of the superstar young, Suma1l. Still only 16 years old, Syed Sumail Hassan moved from Pakistan to America to pursue his dream of becoming a gamer Professional Dota, get the guidance of veteran Clinton 'Fear' Loomis firsthand.

The audience has admitted that Evil Geniuses is filled with genius individuals, but it is only now that they work as a solid team. Apart from bringing pride to the country and their team, Fear, Suma1L, Aui_2000, ppd and UNiVeRsE also secured over US$6,6 million - the largest amount in the championship eSports global.
