Emtek Group Sells KlikDokter Shares, Now Fully Owned by Kalbe Farma

Since the beginning, Kalbe has been the majority shareholder of KlikDokter, now owns 99,98% of the shares

Company healthtech KlikDokter is now fully controlled by Kalbe Farma after buying 23,81% shares owned by PT Kreatif Media Karya (KMK), a subsidiary of Emtek Group. From the start, Kalbe, through PT Karsa Lintas Buwana (KLB), was the majority shareholder of 76,19% in KlikDokter since Emtek entered in 2016.

Menurut information disclosure on BEI, the transaction was completed on September 30, 2021, worth Rp62,5 billion. PT Medika Komunika Teknologi (MKT) which is the owner of KlikDokter service approved the decision to sell all shares or a total of 1.000 series B shares owned by KMK, each of 999 series B shares to KLB and 1 share to PT Hexpharm Jaya Laboratories (HJ) .

After this transaction, the composition of the latest share ownership is KLB with 99,98% ownership with details, a total of 1000 series A shares or the equivalent of 23,81%; a total of 3,199 series B shares or the equivalent of 76,71%; and HJ with 1 share of series B or the equivalent of 0,02%.

Kalbe Farma's Corporate Secretary Lukito Kurniawan Gozali said that the corporate action was carried out to increase capital in the context of developing business/business in the future. "KMK has no affiliation and/or conflict of interest with the company [Kalbe Farma]," he wrote.
