Email Insights Offers Faster Email Search Solution

The Microsoft Garage project has produced a number of works that are interesting enough to be taken seriously into commercial products. Recently they came back launch new product a software called Email Insights.

Email Insights is an application that is intended to help users in terms of work related to electronic mail. The application is formulated like a browser search but specifically for e-mail, has a taste like Bing or Google but is intended to search for electronic mail.

This application supports Microsoft Outlook as well as Gmail, and has the ability to display the three most relevant search results from message searches through a panel called the Intent Pane. Like search engines, Email Insights also provides text autocomplete, spell correction and displays contact names even if the keywords are typed incorrectly or are spelled incorrectly.

Thus, once the application is installed it will ask the user to input Outlook and Gmail account information. From there then the app will pull all Email of the two accounts. In the process, users can filter searches based on inboxes, sent or even deleted e-mails in the trash. The search will also include the name, attachment name and also the link.

In its official release Microsoft said that the search results will be based on time as well as relevance. To provide extra convenience, users can pin the application to the taskbar to shorten the job when looking for Email certain. In addition, users can also perform multiple searches simultaneously by opening tab new.
