Launch a slick strategy, Elevenia Manages to Have Six Hundred Thousand Members in a Short Time

Despite being in an increasingly fierce industry competition – especially today there is news from two sites classified ads in Indonesia officially joined forces, on line marketplace by XL Axiata with SK Planet, Elevenia admitted that the platform is currently treading significant growth. Elevenia's growth achievement is claimed to have surged thanks to various slick strategies, with one of them opening the first physical facility by an e-commerce company in Indonesia, namely Vendor Zone. This facility is a place for sellers to be able to take advantage of product photo studios, and seminar rooms located in the shopping center area in Jakarta.

As stated in a press release, Madeleine Ong De Guzman, Elevenia's VP of Marketing said that Elevenia's member growth has currently reached an average growth of 30.000 members per week, she also welcomed this growth positively. “We are very surprise with this result. I didn't expect that the public would warmly welcome Elevenia's presence, especially in the realm of online shopping," he said.

Furthermore, according to Madeleine, Elevenia's marketing efforts through social media channels and product innovations are seen as having succeeded in gaining quite good user traction.

“The number of users and fans of our social media assets plus Instant Messaging channels elevenia almost reached the 1 million mark. Not only that, as of October 2014, elevenia has more than 20.000 sellers and more than 2 million products, of which 97% are local sellers,” he added.

In addition, Elevenia also claims that its activities in the online realm – as in the program entitled 'Elevenia Day' some time ago helped boost the growth of its users. “Elevenia Day in November is very exciting. In one day yesterday, we got more than 6.000 new members," added Madeleine.

Although he did not convey the new strategy that would be installed in the future, Elevenia's claim this time could certainly imply that the competition in the Indonesian e-commerce industry will be more 'fierce' in the future. It should be noted, Elevenia herself is currently in a fairly heavy vortex. Moreover, the trigger if not from Tokopedia who now has support big capital and all the plans.
