Supporting Digital Transformation Acceleration, Alibaba Cloud Commitment to Focus on Talent Development and Local Partnership Programs in Indonesia

Alibaba Cloud opens a Digital Talent Training program, collaborating with 11 universities in Indonesia to train 50.000 talents with various digital skill sets.

Jack Ma's leading cloud computing service provider, Alibaba Cloud, is committed to investing more in human resources in Indonesia in 2022. According to the plan, Alibaba Cloud targets to provide digital training to more than 50.000 Indonesian talents through the “Digital Talent Training” program. 

Collaborating with 11 universities in Indonesia, Alibaba Cloud promises to train Indonesian talents with digital skill sets in areas such as cloud computing, data analytics, and machine learning.

Not only that, later, this program will also provide more support to local startups and developer, expand collaboration with local ecosystems, and offer more advanced industrial solutions to support the acceleration of digital transformation in the country. 

This is in line with Alibaba Cloud's commitment to always provide support to the fast-growing startup community. This factor is also demonstrated by Alibaba Cloud by organizing a series of events, such as StartupFest, a large-scale event where Startups perform pitch to obtain cloud resources free worth up to USD 60.000, and the opportunity to gain access to a global investment track. 

This year also Alibaba Cloud will continue the event Hosted Re-cloud Challenges in the community developer, offers development tools low-code along with coupons and cash funds to help the developer create solutions together in platform AlibabaCloud. 

As the backbone of Alibaba Group's digital technology and intelligence, Alibaba Cloud continues to expand its ecosystem of cooperation through various technology companies and networks (channel). 

Alibaba Cloud has an agenda to increase this cooperation program by including 200 partners from various sectors, ranging from retail, finance, logistics, to Gaming by the end of 2022, providing customized industrial solutions as well as consulting on digital transformation for businesses to serve various digital migration demands.

In line with this, General Manager of Alibaba Cloud Indonesia, Leon Chen said, "With the three data center and one center scrubbing in Indonesia, we have grown strongly and have expanded our customer base across 10 sectors in the past year.
