DSLaunchpadX Announces Top 9 Startups for Pitching to Over 50 Investors on Demo Day

DSLaunchpadX, a startup incubator program initiated by  DailySocial.id with DS/X Ventures, has reached the final round. After going through a 4-week incubation process, including webinar sessions and 1-on-1s with 8 super-mentors choice, now the 9 best startups have been selected to take part in the Demo Day stage.

In Demo Day, para founder will be met (match making) with 58 investors, consisting of venture capital (VC) and angel investors local or regional. The Demo Day series will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 virtually. In each session founder chance to do pitching and get immediate feedback from investors.

"DSLaunchpadX was created with the aim of helping Indonesian founders accelerate the growth of their own startups, and we are very grateful to all the amazing mentors who have guided and assisted our founders," said DS/X Ventures Partner Amir Karimuddin.

Startup Journey on DSLaunchpadX

Since opening in early 2020 under the name DSLaunchpad, thousands of startups have registered for the online incubation program with more than 40 of the best mentors from Indonesia. In 2023, partnering with DS/X Ventures and changing the name to DSLaunchpadX, more than 300 startups have registered. From this number, selection and verification were carried out to select the 30 best startups who were entitled to take part in the 4-week incubation session in February 2023.

The startups that are incorporated consist of various categories and business models, ranging from agritech, edutech, SaaS, fintech, and others. Most of them are in stages pre seed and seed stages. Interestingly, the majority of DSLaunchpadX participants are based outside Jakarta.

During these 4 weeks, startups received various supplies which were completely done virtually. a number super-mentor also presented to give insights more in-depth about the startup world and experiences as founders:

Every activity and assignment given in the incubation process is comprehensively monitored and assessed through the platform DSLaunch developed by DailySocial.id. This platform is specifically designed to make it easier for founders, mentors, and organizers to carry out a series of startup incubator/accelerator activity processes.

Based on the results of the assessment, then the 9 best startups were selected to take part in the Demo Day session.

Demo Day Virtual, Supported by the Startup.id Platform

The Demo Day event will be conducted completely virtual. This activity is also supported by Startup.id, a platform startup-investor matchmaking developed DailySocial.id. Through this platform, para founder can show information and business performance; Potential investors can also connect directly with the startups they are interested in exploring investments.
