DSLaunchpad 2.0: Golden Opportunity to Learn from Experts!

Together with the mentors, participants are invited to accelerate their startups as well as gain knowledge from the knowledge and experience of the mentors.

For approximately one month, the participants of DSLaunchpad 2.0 have gone through various series of intensive mentoring with other partners experts. The topics under discussion also varied, ranging from idea validation, business models, prototyping, to marketing. Together with the mentors, participants are invited to accelerate the growth of their startup as well as gain knowledge from the knowledge and experience of the mentors.

Supported by a variety of mentor backgrounds

In the mentoring series at DSLaunchpad 2.0, participants get the opportunity to ask questions and learn from each mentor through webinars. A total of eight webinar sessions were held to equip the participants in developing their startups. In addition to the participants, DSLaunchpad 2.0 also provides an opportunity for all registrants to be able to watch this webinar session through the channel youtube DailySocial TV.

The DSLaunchpad 2.0 mentoring session not only presents a variety of topics, but also presents a variety of mentors who are ready to give insight to the participants. The mentors who participated in this acceleration program were Pandu Sjahrir (Managing Partner of Indies Capital Partners), Willson Cuaca (Co-Founder of East Ventures), Edy Sulistyo (CEO of Go-Play), Markus Liman Rahardja (VP of Investor Relations & Strategy of BRI Ventures), Shinta Nurfauzia (Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Lemonilo), Johnny Widodo ( CEO of OLX Autos Indonesia), Ivan Arie (Co-Founder & CEO, TaniHub), and Agung Bezharie (Co-Founder & CEO, Warung Pintar).

Mentors who help participants accelerate their startup in DSLaunchpad 2.0

For the participants, this variation certainly brings many advantages. According to the Founder of the Koalabora, Michael Andrianus, as a participant he felt that the diversity of the backgrounds of the mentors made the participants not only able to explore insight from the perspective of startup actors, but also to know the investor's point of view in viewing a startup. As a participant who has participated in the DSLaunchpad program for the second time, he revealed that this helps participants to get more opportunities to explore best practices from mentors. "In the second DSLunchpad, we can get the opportunity to study with many mentors, so the assumption is that the knowledge is also wider." Michael told DailySocial.

For startups early stage, the opportunity to participate in this acceleration program is an opportunity for them to gain as much knowledge as possible. This was also acknowledged by the Founder of Teman Pasar, Ahmad Alimuddin. According to him, although funding is important for startups, he sees the opportunity to take part in this acceleration program as an opportunity to learn from existing mentors. "Every startup definitely needs funding, it can't be denied, but we haven't put the most important funding, for us the most important thing (at this time) is that we need mentors," he added.

One-On-One Session Help Participants Deepen Understanding

Apart from webinars, selected participants in each session were also given the opportunity to take part in one-on-one sessions with mentors. This session is considered to be able to deepen participants' understanding of their startup. In addition, participants also had the opportunity to network and interact directly with the mentors in this session.

“One-on-One is great, even if it's only for 10 minutes, you can networking, pitching, and in fact we exist follow-up session after that” said Radyum Ikono, CEO of Schoters.

Each week, participants are also provided with assignments and progress updates to help mentors and the acceleration program team monitor the progress and understanding of participants regarding the material provided through the DSLaunch platform. It is hoped that participants can continue to develop their startups better during the acceleration program.

Furthermore, the DSLlaunchpad 2.0 acceleration program organized by DailySocial.id and supported by Amazon Web Services (AWS) will now enter the final stage, namely Demo Day. The 10 best participants will present their startup in front of the judges on December 9, 2020.
