Developing Conversation Sentiment Analysis in Social Media, Ivosights Collaborates with LIPI
Help each other in terms of data processing and technology, understand the chatter of netizens (netizens) more deeply
To analyze netizen conversations on social media, Ivosights, a startup that offers solutions end-to-end and mitigation to support the company's success in reaching more customers, announced a strategic partnership with the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI). According to Ivosights CEO and Co-founder Elga Yulwardian, this strategic collaboration, in the next year, will not only be profitable for Ivosights but also for LIPI.
To DailySocial, Elga said LIPI has great potential to be able to support other startups in Indonesia. LIPI also benefits market needs insights all at once data sharing and Resources.
"LIPI turns out to have a lot of interesting research that is very relevant to Ivosights products and platforms. One of them is sentiment analysis (digital monitoring/listening tools) and voice to text. With experts and excellent facilities, we are sure we can synergize to... sharing efforts and Resources in the same study," said Elga.
This collaboration is claimed to be the first time in Indonesia, in terms of research and development of sentiment analysis. Later LIPI together with Ivosights will seek to understand and analyze conversational data on social media more deeply.
Measuring negative sentiment and public opinion
The more massive social media users are to file complaints, open opinion makes it difficult for companies to control these negative comments. For the company, the data is an important source of information to find out the public's response to product brands, and services them. Likewise for political parties or politicians who want to measure their level of popularity. However, measuring a sentiment on social media is not easy.

As a company that has integrated products through three flagship platforms, namely Ripple10, Sociomile, and Sociomation, this collaboration is expected to improve the technology that Ivosights already has.
"So our target is to increase the sentiment accuracy capability of one of our platforms, namely Ripple10, through this collaboration," concluded Elga.
