Desty Commerce Completes Pillars, Helping Business Owners "Go Online"

Desty Commerce presents 4 main services, including Page, Store, Omni, and Menu

The e-commerce business in Indonesia which continues to grow rapidly has created increasingly fierce business competition. This requires business people to be able to continue to innovate both in terms of products, services, and strategies in attracting and retaining customers.

The Desty Omni service itself is provided to make it easier for business owners to manage products, orders, and stock goods to support the integration of e-commerce sales in various marketplaces and web stores. Recently, Desty also launched a new feature called Omni Chat, a collective dashboard to access all customer chats from various marketplaces.

The Omni Chat feature is expected to make it easier for businesses to serve customers effectively and increase customer service chat response time which is an important indicator for e-commerce customers when choosing a store to shop with. Since its launch until now, Desty Omni has managed to reach hundreds of billions of rupiah in Gross Merchandise Value (GMV).

In addition, another service that is also being developed is Desty Menu, specifically designed for business players in the Food and Beverages (F&B) industry in cutting the ordering operational chain. This service will be used by restaurants, coffee shops, cinemas, karaoke, and so on. Through Desty Menu, merchants can take advantage of various services such as pick-up, dine-in, delivery, and scheduled orders.

Moreover, Desty Menu provides access for business owners to collect and centralize customer data in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Feature delivered and this CRM will soon be launched to be used by merchant. A number of merchant who have used this service revealed that their business has experienced an increase in turnover of up to 30%, service time efficiency of up to 5 minutes, and received positive testimonials from more than 90% of its customers.

Desty first got early stage funding by East Ventures at the end of 2020 for an undisclosed amount. At that time the company had only been established for 2 months, but it had managed to attract thousands of users including online brands (Alowalo, Babycare, Notbad), content creators (Mindblowon Studio/Tahilalat), and an influencer from the culinary, travel, lifestyle, and fashion industries.

In 2021, the company again raised $5 million or around 71,3 billion Rupiah in rounds pre Series A. This fund is said to be used to accelerate product development and acquisitions merchant and launch innovative products in the future. To date, Desty has raised over $10 million in the A3 pre-Series round. Going forward, the company will continue to innovate to provide more business support services to support business digitization in Indonesia. In the third quarter of this year, Desty Omni is also expected to integrate with TikTok Shop and Lazada.

Desty is one of several players who are actively supporting the growth of social commerce in Indonesia. Likewise, investors are now increasingly interested in investing in this sector.
