Dealoka Receives Series A Funding from SB ISAT Fund

Ideabox dropout startup batch firstly, Dealoka secured Series A funding from SB ISAT Fund with an unspecified value. Dealoka is the first startup to receive investment from the SB ISAT Fund, which was announced eight months ago. The SB ISAT Fund is a $50 million joint fund from SoftBank Japan and Indosat for the development of startups in Indonesia engaged in e-commerce, digital and social media, and mobile financial services.

Dealoka itself is a marketing platform that tries to "improve" how deals promotion is done using location-based services. Since launching in June 2014, Dealoka has been downloaded more than 35.000 times. Currently Dealoka is available for platforms Android and iOS.

According to Indosat, Dealoka is Indosat's technology partner for the new customer acquisition program and acts as a platform for redeeming points and Indosat digital vouchers. Dealoka has teamed up with blitzmegaplex, Wendy and Baskin Robbins. Dealoka is also a platform to develop Indosat's loyalty division through its program with Giant, Bakerzin, and Share Tea.
