Crewdible Services Simplify the Online Store "Fulfilment" Process

Already have 40 active sellers, planning to add warehouse and do fundraising

The abundance of presence online shop also gave rise to various supporting businesses. Starting from goods providers, marketing activities, to logistics. One of the local startups trying to come up with this solution is Crewdible.

Starting from his personal business activities which had difficulty packing and delivering goods to buyers in large quantities, Dhana Galindra developed a business model utilizing local residents who live around JNE outlets to store goods and deliver the goods, if there is an order.

Successfully running this method for six months, Dhana then began to be flooded with requests from the owner online shop others to entrust and deliver goods, utilizing partners (home/warehouse owners).

"Since it went well, we started to create a separate business entity to seriously develop the business fulfilment this is what we call Crewdible."

Together Crewdible, Dhana has been able to deliver goods from the owner online shop, collaborating with partners who are no longer from local residents, and other forms of business.

"Besides storing goods, Crewdible can also help the owner online shop to package and deliver the goods. So the process is faster and of course more efficient," said Dhana.

For every item packaged and shipped using partners, Crewdible will charge a fee of 3,5% of the sales value (maximum IDR 10 thousand). Even for packaging materials, Crewdible provides material options that the seller wants.

"For each transaction it will automatically be deducted from the balance top-up in Crewdible's wallet," said Dhana.

Spread over the islands of Java, Sumatra and Kalimantan

Currently, Crewdible has around 40 active sellers spread across various regions, such as Greater Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Solo, Jogja, Surabaya, Batam, Palembang to Balikpapan. Those who are interested in becoming partners can register directly through application, then choose the nearest warehouse location and of course make a deposit payment (to a digital wallet).

"Later on, the warehouse fee paid by the seller will be used for current operational needs. In addition, Crewdible will also receive an injection of funds from the previous business profit," said Dhana.

Still running business boostrap, Crewdible still has a lot of plans to be realized. Among them is increasing the number of warehouses so that they can help more sellers online shop.

"For that we plan to do fundraising in order to help warehouse partners work more efficiently, enlarge the warehouse network, reduce human error, process automation, integration with marketplace and logistics systems, and increase capacity marketing," concluded Dana.
