Coursera Strategy Explores Edtech Opportunities in Indonesia
Coursera already has 1,4 million users, 29 business users and 35 university partners in the Indonesian market
Platform EdTech from the United States, Coursera, is serious about learning opportunities online in Indonesia, marked by the launch of translated content and artificial intelligence (AI) based features in Indonesian to make learning more personal and interactive. High user growth and promising prospects for digital workers make them consider investing more in this country.
In a press conference held in Jakarta today (16/8), Coursera CEO Jeff Maggioncalda said that the company's mission is to provide equal access to world-class learning for all levels of education. This ambition can be achieved by harnessing the power of AI to bridge the language gap.
"With more than 2.000 AI-translated courses now available in Indonesian, students in Indonesia have an unprecedented opportunity to access the world's best teachers to develop skills for a digital future," he explained.
