Cooperation with Local Content Platform, Kaskus Initiated “Kaskus Networks”

Infokost, Bolalob, Opin, Womantalk, and Beritagar are the first five platforms to work together to initiate Kaskus Networks

Kaskus, which is now positioning itself as social commerce platform, announced that it has collaborated with various content platforms local area to initiate the “Kaskus Networks” content network. The goal to be achieved is to synergize content platforms and build a positive and mutually supportive business ecosystem. In this initial stage there are five content platforms Those who have joined are Infokost, Bolalob, Opinion, Womantalk, and Beritagar.

Kaskus CMO Ronny W. Sugiada in a media statement said, “We invite all contentplatform locals in Indonesia to join Kaskus Networks and build a positive content ecosystem. This synergy will also of course provide value more for each member, good from the side usertraffic, revenue, as well as SEO (Search Engine Optimization).”

“We will also maximize use throughout channel [Kaskus], fine website, mobile web, mobile apps, to social media as part of Kaskus Networks to provide the best experience and results for brand who work with us,” continued Ronny.

For your information, content platforms currently joining Kaskus Networks are mostly companies under the auspices of Global Visi Media, one of the companies under the management of GDP Ventures.

Kaskus CEO Martin B. Hartono emphasized that Kaskus Networks is a network that is open to everyone content platforms who want to join. Martin also hopes that in the future Kaskus Networks can become one of the leading content & advertising networks throughout Indonesia and is able to bring content platforms together to exist more on the global stage.

Kaskus was created by Andrew Darwis in 1999 which was then brought back to Indonesia in 2008 and officially became a company under the umbrella of PT Darta Media Indonesia. Even though it's already left by Ken Dean Lawadinata, Kaskus itself has now developed into a social commerce platform largest in Indonesia – from what was previously just a discussion forum.

In addition to a general forum for discussion and buying and selling transactions, Kaskus itself has a News forum channel whose content is mostly filled by media that have news channels. online such as Metrotvnews, Gatra, and Beritagar. Kaskus also claims to now have more than nine million ber registered and has approximately 20.000 communities in it.
