Nearly a year after the acquisition, Klik-Eat is now fully helmed by the Japanese team

Almost a year ago the food delivery service Klik-Eat acquired Yume no Machi from Japan. Para co-founder Click-Eat was still with the company to ensure a smooth transition. As of last July, the leadership of Klik-Eat began to be held directly by a team from Japan. Michael Saputra and Willy Haryanto, the two surviving co-founders, have left the company and founded a new startup.

According to team information on the Klik-Eat website, the CEO of Klik-Eat is now held by Kenichi Aoyagi, while the COO is Ilham Maulana. We don't have much information about Kenichi Aoyagi and his involvement with the Yume no Machi team. According to his LinkedIn page, Aoyagi was involved in founding the startup Loupe and is now also a Director of Legend Partners Ltd.

Earlier during the acquisition, it was stated that Yume no Machi CEO Rie Nakamura and Finance Manager Masateru Kaneko joined the board of directors and commissioners of Klik-Eat.

Michael and Willy themselves "had Move on" and set up a food and spice delivery startup (preplan home meal kit delivery) Black garlic.

Under the leadership of the new management, Klik-Eat has increased its restaurant coverage in West Jakarta and accepts payments using Debit BCA. In addition to food delivery services, Klik-Eat also has online catering services Papa Bento.

Klik-Eat was founded by Michael Saputra, Willy Haryanto, and Andrew Pangestan in early 2012 as a food delivery service that tries to provide a solution for those who don't want to be stuck in traffic, but can still enjoy delicious food from their favorite restaurants. One of the awards that Klik-Eat received was to become a Indonesian representative in the 2012 Echelon event. Now Klik-Eat has served delivery in the Jakarta, Tangerang, and Bandung areas.
