ChooseDoctor Get Funded from RingMD

The estimated seven-digit US dollar funding will soon change to RingMD Indonesia

Health information portal ChooseDoctor announced funding from a global health technology company with operations in six countries RingMD seven-figure United States dollars ($1-9,99 million). SelectDokter will later change to RingMD Indonesia, as well as redesign the portal and use the new domain Dokter.id.

SelectDokter is a health information portal that provides questions and answers about health problems, information about disease symptoms, and a database of doctors and hospitals throughout Indonesia. They will redesign the portal which is planned to be completed in mid-April and rebrand using a more domain name catchy doctor.id.

SelectDokter Co-Founder Grace Tahir in a press release said, "RingMD has a great platform to connect doctors and patients, and this will help the entire spectrum of the healthcare industry in Indonesia by providing better services and reducing costs. bottleneck. We are thrilled to be working with the RingMD team."

RingMD itself is a platform that allows consumers/prospective patients to consult directly with the desired specialist doctor directly remote (can be through online communication, telephone conversation, or video) at an affordable cost.

RingMD Founder and CEO Justin Fulcher added, "We are very excited about this investment. Indonesia is a great opportunity for our company and we are excited to be working with the incredibly talented team at SelectDokter.com/dokter.id."

Health information portals in Indonesia have actually started to mushroom because of the high need from the public to know more about health, not just having to ask a doctor directly. SelectDokter is one of those that bridges this need, besides making it easier to find the nearest doctor and hospital in all corners of the country.

Following this funding, SelectDokter plans to increase its staffing and marketing efforts to educate more people about "telehealth". Grace told DailySocial, "We are planning to do a roadshow to introduce this product to hospitals, medical schools, and other health care providers outside Jakarta. Our vision is to provide better and more accessible health services for every Indonesian, especially for them. who live outside Jakarta."
