"Tantan" Dating App Strategy in Indonesia

Present in Indonesia since last July 2018, the Chinese dating app, Tantan, claims to have experienced a growth in the number of users. Tantan offers a platform that guarantees personal data from users. In 2019, Tantan claims to be available in 87 countries with total users reaching more than 213 million, although it does not mention how many users are here.

To make it easier for users to interact in the application, Tantan has launched an Indonesian language feature. To DailySocial, Tantan Marketing Director Jack Wu revealed, every day Tantan sees up to billions swipe by its users in Indonesia.
