Celebrate Second Anniversary, Cipika Store will Start Focusing on Wholesale Sales

At the same time, CipikaBookmate, which is a diversification of the Cipika Store, also celebrates its first anniversary

This month, on August 24, 2016, to be exact, service marketplace made by Indosat Ooredoo Cipika Store will have its second anniversary. In its second year, many changes and improvements have occurred and Cipika Store also plans to start focusing on selling wholesale goods. On the other hand, CipikaBookmate which is a diversified Cipika Store also celebrates its first anniversary.

Chief of New Business and Innovation Indosat Ooredoo Prashant Gokarn said that in its second year Cipika Store has made many breakthroughs and changes for customer satisfaction. One of them is in terms of payment methods.

"To provide choices and ease of transactions, there are several developments that we have carried out, including the payment system through BCA Klikpay and BCA Klikpay Indomaret", said Prashant.

In addition to the development of payment systems, Cipika Store also recorded as working with various cross-segment companies. For example, Persib Grab Express, MNC Play Media, IM3 Ooredoo, and several others. Cipika is also optimistic because they see that the potential for e-commerce in Indonesia is still very high.

Prashant said, "Compared to the previous year, Cipika has increased Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) up to 70% while for cost promo has decreased by up to 50% and Stock Keeping Value (SKU) this year is dominated by the category gadgets. Even though Cipika still counts marketplace new, I believe Cipika can compete with competitors."

Furthermore, to focus on business, Cipika plans to accommodate customer needs with a focus on selling wholesale goods. This plan is considered to be able to bring Cipika to a better position.

“In the first year our sales focus was on Indonesian cuisine, along the way we continued to develop our program Wholesale (wholesale) which focuses on goods outlets, gadgets and electronics that are currently in high demand by our customers,” said Prashant.

At the same time, CipikaBookmate, which is a diversification of the Cipika Store, also celebrates its first anniversary. Just like Cipika Store, CipikaBookmate is also planning a number of innovations for their customers.

Some of which are disclosed are the service extension system through Direct Carriers (DCB), payments via UMB, launching of daily packages, and increasing the amount of content in their library in collaboration with well-known publishers such as Bentang Pustaka, Mizan Media, Rosda Karya, Zikrul Hakim Bestari, Trimkom, and others.

CipikaBookmate itself claims to have managed to get 80.000 active users during its one year operation in the country. This figure is targeted to increase to 300% of customers.
