Blue Bird and Traveloka Launch Airport Transfer Service

Today, (19/12), Traveloka and Bluebird Group announced its strategic partnership in direct booking of airport transportation in 10 cities in Indonesia (Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Bali, Lombok, Solo, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Medan and Manado). This collaboration is forged to provide convenience and comfort for Traveloka and Blue Bird users to get transportation to the airport and from the airport to their home or other destinations.

To the media, Traveloka's Senior Vice President of Business Development, Caesar Indra, said that this collaboration was based on the common vision and mission of Blue Bird and Traveloka.

"We at Traveloka do not choose partners to expand our business and create new services. For that reason, this partnership with Blue Bird Group is expected to be a new choice for Traveloka users."

Already available in the mobile application for the Android version and following on iOS, users can choose the Airport transportation feature. Users will be directed to the option for pick-up according to the plane's arrival time, number of passengers and plane number. With the calculation of the All-In tariff (toll, fuel) users are claimed to get the appropriate and flat (fixed) price.

"We categorize this service as a premium service with a wide choice of cars and ease of ordering directly from the application," said Ceesar.

Bag a special permit from the airport

In contrast to other online transportation services, which until now still have to "hide" from airport security when picking up passengers at the airport, this Traveloka and Blue Bird airport transportation service has obtained an official permit to operate at the airport, taking advantage of the permit already owned by the Blue Bird Group. This provides more certainty and security when making reservations to the airport and directions back from the airport.

Asked about the reasons for choosing Traveloka as a partner, not Go-Jek, which currently provides Blue Bird taxi orders through its application, Director of PT Blue Bird Sigit Priawan Djokosoetono said this was deliberately done to provide a variety of services.

"Although we have partnered with Go-Jek, we deliberately did this airport transportation service with Traveloka in order to provide different service options. For users who want to order a taxi, they can use the Go-Jek application while for private car airport transportation, they can use the Traveloka application. ."

Through this collaboration, Blue Bird provides two transportation service options, namely: airport transfers with Golden Bird and various types of cars such as Avanza, Inova, Camry, Alphard.

"For users in the group, they can order services that will take them from one point to the next," said Sigit.
