Blibli, Tiket.com, and Ranch Market Merger [UPDATE]

Blibli, Tiket.com, and Ranch Market announce business union (merger) become "Blibli Tiket". This initiative was announced through a commercial video uploaded on the channel YouTube Blibli today (14/10).

"Blibli Tiket is a campaign of a unified omnichannel ecosystem between Blibli and its subsidiaries, Tiket.com - the most complete travel and lifestyle service provider; and Ranch Market - a leading high quality supermarket chain in Indonesia. The Blibli Tiket omnichannel ecosystem provides convenience and added value for customers, as well as providing more complete, useful and integrated services from each channel and platform in the ecosystem," said Blibli VP of Public Relations Yolanda Nainggolan.

It is not yet known how the legal structure after the merger will be. When confirmed the company did not want to comment. From monitoring on the Blibli site, currently the company's board of directors structure has been conditioned like a general PT with the Board of Directors and the Board of Commissioners, including independent commissioners.

Meanwhile, application integration between Blibli and Tiket.com has been carried out since the beginning of this year, starting with account integration between applications.

Tiket.com is the pioneer of OTA (Online Travel Agents) in Indonesia. Established in 2011, the company was acquired by Djarum Group through Blibli in 2017. Likewise Ranch Market, in 2021 Blibli acquired the majority stake in the company to strengthen its line Grocery which is owned.

Although the valuation figure is not explicitly stated, both Blibli and Tiket.com have now confirmed that they have the status of unicorn. The hope is that the joining of these three services is expected to provide a complete experience, through the superior features they have.
