Blibli and Tiket.com Facilitate "Login" Between Platforms Through "Single Sign-On Widget"

After officially announcing user account integration, Blibli and Tiket.com launch single sign-on widget (SSO) to make it easier for users to do login cross-platform application.

SSO is a technology that combines several login in different applications into one. Users just enter their credentials login them, such as usernames and passwords, on a single page to access multiple service ecosystems. widget SSO enables users to access Tiket.com through the Blibli platform with the same account registered with Blibli.

Blibli CMO Edward Kilian Suwignjo said his party is focused on building an integrated and comprehensive ecosystem to the next level so that it can become a omnichannel commerce and lifestyle platform trusted in Indonesia.

"We are committed to improving a complete and trusted digital ecosystem to meet consumer needs, starting from daily needs, integration single sign on, to service travel and lifestyle," he said.

Furthermore, Tiket.com Co-founder and CMO Gaery Undarsa said, "As an OTA platform that focuses on customer-centric, this innovation aims to maximize convenience for customers. This integrated smart ecosystem will meet every need of the Indonesian people," he added.

As is known, Blibli and Tiket.com announced the first synergy between platforms E-commerce and Online travel Agent (OTA) in Indonesia last February. This synergy also makes it easier for users to contribute to one loyalty levels to level up automatically, follow the highest level on Blibli Loyalty and Elite Rewards membership on Tiket.com.

How to account integration

To integrate accounts on both platforms, users simply open the Blibli app and select widget "tiket.com" in the category menu. Then, select the "Match Now" button available on the "Onboarding" page.

Users will get a confirmation request to allow tiket.com to access the data. Select "Allow Access" and enter the OTP of the message sent to the registered number. If the customer chooses "Cancel", tiket.com can still be visited through the Webview option without account access.

The SSO feature can already be enjoyed by Android and iOS users. How to use it is to click on the "Tiket.com" icon in the category mobile app. If the Blibli account is not registered on tiket.com, a new account will be automatically created and registered directly using the same email in the Blibli account.

However, if the customer has already matched accounts in both applications, the customer will be directed to tiket.com Webview and signed in to the appropriate account. Select "Cool" button after status membership customized customer.

Synergy towards IPO

Gradually but surely, the synergy between the two companies has become Blibli's strategic move to take the floor on the stock exchange. It could be that this integration step aims to increase its valuation later.

Even this early April, Bloomberg reported that Tiket.com is considering a merger option with Blibli. Meanwhile, Tiket.com has been acquired by Blibli since June 2017.

Prior to this, Blibli has also partnered exclusively with digital bank "blu" in the last year. This synergy is claimed to be the first between an e-commerce platform and a digital bank.

Both Blibli, Tiket.com, and blu (a subsidiary of BCA) are both subsidiaries of the conglomerate company Djarum Group.
