BeKind Launches NFT to Facilitate Social Fundraising

Collaborating with KLaProject, Element, and Pinot W Ichwandardi artists

-based aggregator platform blockchainBeKind officially launched NFT digital work to facilitate social fundraising in Indonesia. BeKind collaborates with KLa Project musicians, Elements, and artists pixel art Pinot W. Ichwandardi.

In his official statement, BeKind's NFT is claimed to be the first NFT in Indonesia that allows fundraisers and donors to help people experiencing economic difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic and natural disasters by channeling funds that are more traceable, cost-effective, and accountable.

By purchasing NFT digital works using a token-based exchange blockchain, the data storage process is more accurate and the distribution of funds is more transparent. Meanwhile, BeKind NFT was launched through the platform marketplace OpenSea accessible from March 25, 2022.

"We are aware that the fundraising process often faces various challenges, such as high transaction fees, lack of transparency, and the possibility of manipulation of the disbursement report. In the first collaboration, KLa Project collaborated with Pinot to produce a music video clip featuring a snippet of the song "Yogyakarta" using retro technology in its animation. Similarly, the Element band, which hired Pinot to launch the song "Power of Love" in the form of NFT.

"I have collaborated with musicians several times, but this is my first time collaborating with domestic musicians. I am proud of the collaboration with KLa Project and Element to pave the way for fundraising. I think this is the latest innovation that can encourage, not only increase the welfare of actors art in times of a pandemic, but also for those in need," said Pinot.

Fundraising issues
