AWS Plans to Invest 71 Trillion Rupiah in 15 Years, Strengthening "Cloud" Business in Indonesia

Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced that it has officially opened the Indonesian Region, namely the AWS Asia Pacific (Jakarta) Region. The opening of this new Region is in line with AWS' plan to invest $5 billion or around 71 trillion Rupiah in the next 15 years in Indonesia.

Strengthening the Jakarta Region

Currently, AWS has 84 availability zone in 26 geographic regions of the world, and plans to add 24 availability zone and eight other AWS Regions next year.

For the Asia Pacific region, several AWS Region locations are spread out, including the AWS Asia Pacific (Sydney) Region for Australia, the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) Region for India, the Asia Pacific (Singapore) Region for Singapore, and the Asia Pacific (Osaka) Region for Japan. .
