Aruna Develops Integrated Digital Solution for Fishery and Marine Industry

Digital innovation in the real sector is very much needed, especially in critical sub-sectors that support the needs of many people's lives. Recently, one of the startups mentored by Indigo Creative Nation has started to show off. Aruna, a startup that focuses on developing platforms for the fisheries and marine (maritime) industry. The products developed include three services, namely digital management, intelligent data and online trading.

Developed by Farid Naufal Aslam (CEO) and several colleagues, the background of the development idea Aruna is the existence of a significant gap in the current state of the marine industry. The potential is great, but in fact it has not disbursed maximum results for the perpetrators. Aruna considers that expertise in the field of information technology can bridge one of the problems in this industry, namely dis-efficiency.

The digital revolution in the marine and fisheries sector

The system developed by Aruna is designed to be integrated with each other, creating a more structured order for processing the marine economy from upstream to downstream. The startup under PT Aruna Jaya Nuswantara currently has 3 product portfolios, namely Integrated Fishery Management, Fishery Data Intelligent and Online Fishery Trading.

Management services provide application systems for fisheries business management. Such as managing transactions, systems point of sale, bookkeeping, inventory recording, to human resource management. While on the system intelligent data Aruna provides a system real-time monitoring and analytical data designed to provide a variety of insight (including supply and market conditions) for industry players. It also includes Fishery Data Crowdsourcing as an effort to integrate data in the Indonesian fishing industry.

And when there is an online sales service, which is designed as a online marketplace and trading to provide flexibility to fishermen in selling their catch commodities. Currently service marketplace is already represented by PasarLaut.com portal.

In addition to providing integrated products that are ready to be applied, Aruna is also committed to providing space for innovators and driving elements in the marine and fisheries industry to be creative together in advancing the economy in the marine sub-sector.
