ANGIN Strengthens Investors and Injects Investment for Three Startups

Several names such as Veronica Colondam, Yansen Kamto, Adrian Li and others are now part of the organization

Jaringan angel investors Angel Investment Network Indonesia (ANGIN) recently announce several investors and advisor new to their organization. Veronica Colondam (Founder of YCAB Foundation), Victor Fungkong (Chairman of Indonusa Group; Tokopedia's first investor), Metta Murdaya, Edy S. Tan and Julio Arias are among the new investors in the ANGIN network. Meanwhile, Luke Roush (Sovereign Capital), Adrian Li (Convergence Ventures), Yansen Kamto (Kibar), and Michael Goldberg (Case Western Reserve University) entered the ranks advisor.

This is the umpteenth time that WIND has expanded its combat wing with the addition of organizational members. Previously, in October 2015, 11 names of investors recently announced to the public. ANGIN's mission at that time was still to build a digital startup business ecosystem in Indonesia. One of the real steps, apart from doing cash injection, is by educating startup actors and involving entrepreneurs who are experts in their fields.

At the same time, the announcement of funding injections for 3 new startups was also delivered. Namely to Landmap, Qontak and Summit Healthcare. Regarding the amount of funding provided to each startup, ANGIN did not disclose.

The first startup to get funding was Landmapp. An Amsterdam-based startup that helps provide land tenure data to farmers. This startup tries to give peace to farmers by ensuring that their land ownership always gets neat documentation, thereby reducing the gap in land grabbing. In addition, this startup also focuses on technical education services and financial solutions for farmers.

The second startup is based in Jakarta. Qontak is a business directory platform that collects detailed data for marketing purposes. The goal is to help businesses do sales, marketing and research on their market share. Funds submitted by ANGIN led by Indonusa Dwitama will focused on development of the user base and strengthen the application of technology in it.

And the third is a startup in the health sector. Summit Healthcare provides training and education for health professionals, especially nurses in America. They are now also working with the American Heart Association. Previously, this startup had received funding rounds from Sovereign Capital and Maloekoe Ventures.
