Akamai: Indonesia's Average Internet Speed ​​Is Now 6,4 Mbps

Periodically within a quarter (3 months), the research institute Akamai conducts a worldwide survey of internet connectivity and several other supporting components in relation to consumer usage. The report stated that 64% of the total users in Indonesia still enjoy speeds equal to or below 4 Mbps. Next, connoisseurs of connectivity above 10 Mbps are only 12% of the total users and those above 15 Mbps are only 3,1%.

If you take the average connectivity speed data, as of the third quarter, Indonesia is ranked 63rd globally with an average speed of 6,4 Mbps, an increase of 115% over the same period the previous year. South Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore are in the top spots for Asian countries.
