Adways Launches "SmartDriver" Digital Advertising Affiliate Service in Indonesia, Hoping to Be Number One in Asia

Adways Inc through its subsidiaries, PT Adways Indonesia, now provides advertising affiliate services "SmartDriver" for the Indonesian market. Adways is a digital advertising network headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The SmartDriver affiliate service was launched for the first time in Indonesia because this country is a benchmarking Southeast Asia in the context of growth.

Hayato Takano, President Director of PT Adways Indonesia, said, "Indonesia is a very fast growing market. It is natural to develop our affiliate services here."

Al Muhtadi as Social Media & Technical Advisor for Adways Indonesia added, "In our eyes, Indonesia is a benchmark Therefore Indonesia (chosen) as the first Southeast Asian country to project SmartDriver. After being successful in Indonesia, SmartDriver will also be released to Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, and so on."

The advantage that SmartDriver offers for advertisers is that it provides an opportunity to enter the Southeast Asian network to increase the effectiveness of product advertising activities. As for publisher, SmartDriver offers access to all networks in Southeast Asia to make money for its network of sites.

Adways has high hopes for success in Indonesia, armed with his experience in managing similar things in his own country. In Japan Adways has an Affiliate Network called JaNET (for web-based network) and Smart-C (for feature phone network). Al Muhtadi confirmed that the two are the number one Affiliate Network in Japan.

SmartDriver is already linked to incentive sites that are part of the Adways network, such as Excite Point, Web Points and PriceArea. User who clicked banner Ads will earn points on incentive sites. These points can be exchanged between users for free phone calls, data roaming, voucher cards, and others.

A variation of SmartDriver is also available for mobile applications -- referred to as AppDriver. Adways targets to be the number one digital marketing service in Asia with SmartDriver and AppDriver. With targets like this, SmartDriver and AppDriver will be dealing directly with Google products, namely Adwords, AdSense and AdMob.

Al Muhtadi explained that the "SmartDriver" target in Indonesia is to reach 10,000 publisher and 100 advertisers as of March 2014. He confirmed that the revenue target through this service in Indonesia is IDR 6 billion throughout 2014.
