Supply Chain SaaS Platform Developer “Advotics” Gets Initial Funding Of 39 Billion Rupiah Led By East Ventures

Digitize various activities so that they become useful data for decision making

Advotics startup SaaS developer Offline-to-Online Analytics announced today (14/5) that it has received seed funding (seed funding) led by East Ventures. Several investors were also involved in this funding round, but the details were not disclosed. The funding value reached $2,7 million (or equivalent to 39 billion Rupiah). The funding will be focused on technology development and accelerating user growth.

Platform Advotics focus on helping goods supply chain businesses (supply chains) in making decisions based on data. Most business people still rely on the method offline in managing and tracking sales and distribution operations. With so many documents that have to be managed manually, business people spend time only on routine work, not on something strategic.

"Clients can purchase a solution that fits their needs, whether it's a complete digitization solution or just a specific module. Advotics also provides features that are highly sought after by industry players, such as productivity applications to monitor in-store workers with geo-tracking systems, regulatory systems route and delivery of goods, marketing system offline-to-online, B2B trading platform and analytics dashboard and Business intelligence for the management team," said Advotics Co-Founder & CTO Hendi Chandi.

Advotics tries to digitize data related to the workforce, business networks, as well as company assets and physical products. Its main objective is to transform data from trading activities and offline work in the field into useful data that can assist the management team in making critical business decisions such as sales penetration, productivity, and retail sales strategy.

One of the breakthroughs made by Advotics is by digitizing products through the use of unique identities, such as QR codes printed on product packaging. This right is considered to be able to help companies track the whereabouts of products from the first distributor to the hands of consumers, as well as protect against product counterfeiting.

"The Advotics team has managed to overcome the core problem of supply chain monitoring in Indonesia. Advotics solutions can help companies monitor the movement of their workers and goods. Data points collected can be used to understand the distribution map (heatmap) of product distribution and streamline the supply chain. We believe this is just the beginning of a supply chain transformation in Indonesia. We welcome the entry of the Advotics team into the B2B ecosystem from East Ventures," said East Ventures Managing Partner. Willson Cuaca.

The Advotics management team consists of three engineer with diverse backgrounds, namely Boris Sanjaya is a industrial engineer with consulting experience at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG); Hendi Chandi ex senior software developer at Amazon, as well as a graduate of the University of Washington Seattle's computer engineering program; and Jeffry Tani is a Ph.D. mechanical engineering from MIT.
