Optimism Breathing Expands “aria” Air Purifier Products

There are two products released, AirTest and Pure40 which can be integrated with the breath app

Good or bad air quality due to pollution and other external factors, has not become a common topic for most Indonesians. The journey in raising this awareness is still so long, that it is now commanded to breath, as an air quality data provider application.

Meanwhile on the other hand, a solution is needed as a real action to improve the air quality in the vicinity. breath penetrates the product air purifier based smart home named "aria" which has been purchased online online on the platform marketplace.

To DailySocialBreath's Co-Founder & CEO Nathan Roestandy explained that Aria is a direct action to improve air quality. Although this segment is already inhabited by many multinational electronics brands, aria is confident enough to compete in the field because it has a unique proposition.

So far, the products on the market have not provided maximum user experience because they do not provide feedback on air quality data drawn from the user's room. Questions such as, whether air purifier Whether it is able to improve the surrounding air quality or not, the existing devices have not been able to answer.

Meanwhile, the aria has a sensor connected to the breath that can be used to monitor the air quality in the room which is the most current. The air quality sensor defines AQI and PM2.5 levels which can be a safe guide for users' daily activities.

"by" product journey, we wake up and breathe first and then about a year later we pioneered our aria. We do some of the manufacturing process in Indonesia and abroad,” said Nathan.

Aria has two products, namely AirTest to monitor air quality and ensure indoor air quality data is the most current because it is connected to the breath application. Then, Pure40 which is able to clean air pollution in a room with a range of 40 square meters (the widest in its category). Users can set the time when Pure40 will be turned on and off, set the day and also the desired speed to get AQI through the breath app.

Competition in the market

In creating economies of scale, there is a dilemma for startups to compete with large corporations, in order to compete in terms of prices that are more affordable for consumers. Therefore, even though the current aria price is more than the market price, there are other propositions offered to consumers.

Nathan explained, Breath puts forward the experience of accessing air quality data to more users. In the future, the company will expand the location of breath sensors to big cities, such as Bandung, Semarang, and Medan from the current position of more than 100 sensors spread across Jabodetabek and Yogyakarta.

In the future, the censorship will not only be placed in private locations, it will also enter public locations that are more open. Thus, the more sensors that are spread out, the more accurate the air quality data will be. There are also more subsequent initiatives that can be carried out with this data.

More Coverage:

One of them is the more intensive interaction between air quality in the indoor and outdoor in reading air quality. The reason is, the biggest bad air quality comes from outside the room. “With our breath we can coverage those interactions with analytics that can be more useful to users.”

Aria production is also targeted to be more massive so that companies can create economies of scale, so that more people will have access and awareness on air quality is increasing. “Of course we have plans to develop the aria to be more mass because in economies of scale pricing which is more economical can be obtained from large-scale production. That's one of the dilemmas of startups in the consumer electronics initially competitive in terms of price.”

Although reluctant to elaborate, Nathan explained that currently Breath has pocketed investment for the next development from a number of investors who focus on a sustainable economy.
